On October 24, VeVe recorded her very first "bondage wrestling" video for us here at Doom Maidens. And here you have it:

Since VeVe mentions "Bondage Wrestling" in her session specialties, and since so many people have been asking what that means, she called out an old rival for a new challenge.
Experienced bondage wrestler VeVe takes on Diablo, a grappler who is trying this rope-tie wrestling for the first time. The objective: wrestle, tie, and immobilize your opponent.

Pre-set coils and lassos lay at the corners of the mat. A huge struggle ensues as rope skill battles strength advantage.
VeVe Lane: 5'4" and 120 lbs
Diablo: 5'6" and 155 lbs

This match is 20 minutes long, made up of two 10-minutes rounds.
Victory is achieved when all of the opponent's limbs are fully tied. And a victory pose is given by the winner.

Then, in the 20 minute wrestling portion, all submissions are legal EXCEPT straight arm bars and rear naked chokes - two of VeVe's favorite and most common submission techniques!

VeVe's Mixed Wrestling in Dancewear. Rematch with Blazin Ben

VeVe and Ben meet again, and by special request, VeVe's attire was to consist of tan/natural pantyhose and a black leotard. The result: a rough, physical mixed match with VeVe decked out somewhat like a ballet dancer. Minus the hair bun and the ballet shoes.

This match was particularly challenging for VeVe because it was requested that she work for particular holds and takedowns; hip throws, shoulder throws, and holds and submissions involving the legs and feet. A tough request to fulfill in a competitive bout, but VeVe rises to the occasion!

She knows how to use her weight in such a way, which she can easily flip you off of her. Her bearhug is very strong. She had me lifted off the floor and I am 6'4" tall. She has a very nice personality. She is not a clock watcher. Again, I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a real competitive wrestling session. She will give you a good workout regardless how tall or short you are."

As the 15-minute, action-packed video unfolds, Brovich quickly realizes that he is up for a beating, and Annie uses her submission skills to crush his paltry stunt skills. Quickly the fighting becomes a game of cat and mouse as Annie shows Brovich who has the upper hand.

But, don't think it was an easy conquest, as Annie still has to work hard to get her stubborn opponent knocked into compliance.

Amazon Annie Crushes Challenger Brovich Stalin! Mixed Wrestling.

Amazon Annie received a challenge from the fool-hardy Brovich Stalin, an evil masked wrestler with a tendency for garbage talkin'! Although the Queen of Squeeze laughed at the puny challenger, she also accepted the match... with a big smile on her face!

This video match introduces Annie's own pro-style trash talkin' (most like Amazonian fight talk!) and is a special Amazon Annie Production. The full match will be in the Doom Maidens video store on Wednesday, May 12, but for now, we are pleased to share the video trailer:

The Bulk and VeVe have always been at odds with each other, and they had met in wrestling combat before, but both had always claimed victory over the other. Now we'll see once and for all who can claim decisive victory, since this match is on video!

The Bulk comes in for a competitive bout, thinking to use his tremendous size advantage against the petite female wrestler. But VeVe uses her speed, agility, and artful submission skills to even up the odds.

It started out competitive, but once VeVe's endurance proved the better, Bulk faced a HUGE struggle to survive the final round.

We've just released on of VeVe's competitive mixed matches from the NYC Wrestling Showcase weekend, back in January. This one was a tough battle...

VeVe accepts a challenge from Brooklyn Surfer, a very experienced folk-style wrestler. VeVe finds herself in a number of dangerous situations during this match. Some she's able to escape, but others.... This one really makes her hustle.

VeVe Lane says:
"This match was a lot of fun and VERY challenging for me. It pitted my grappling skills against the Surfer's excellent freestyle background, and against such a slim, quick, and agile guy, my key weapons of light weight and speed brought no advantage! A very close fight against one of the best opponents I've faced!"

Veronica Vicious' Last Public Appearance: Jan 23 NYC

Greetings Wrestling Fans,

Veronica Vicious has just let us know that January's NYC Wrestling Showcase will be her final public appearance before her retirement from the public session wrestling scene.

Ms. Vicious had originally announced her intention to retire in 2009 due to an amazingly busy schedule outside of wrestling, but because of her love of mixed wrestling, she held on and made things work. However, for 2010, life and duty call; Veronica Vicious does indeed plan to retire from the public mixed wrestling scene after her January 23 appearance at the Showcase.

However, she has mentioned that she plans to continue making custom videos and occasional general videos for Doom Maidens, when her schedule permits.
